Objective
To develop more entrepreneurs in the area of Secondary/ Tertiary Processing and Develop domestic / export markets for Coffee.
To help growers to move up the value chain and thus increase their income.
To help Coffee Board trained Entrepreneurs to establish their own enterprise.
To use the presents strengths of Coffee Board to develop entrepreneurship.
To optimally utilize the resources of AIC CCRI CED (Product Development Lab and Mentor Pool) to maximize coffee entrepreneurship.
To encourage entrepreneurs in under developed yet potential coffee domestic markets.
Program Details
Applicants who want to develop their own brand of Coffees will be preferred in this program especially Growers who want to move up the value chain.
Kaapi Shastra trained candidates (or Similar Progams) will be taken for Incubation phase with a fee of Rs. 20,000/- for a period of 6 months.
Incubation Phase: 6 Months
Aarohana Incubation will entail
Access to the mentor pool of AIC CCRI CED
Tests worth Rs.10,000/- from Coffee Quality Division (paid by AIC CCRI CED)
One Workstation in the Incubation Facility
Mentor support
Access to Product Development Laboratory of the AIC
Access to relevant training programs by AIC
Promotional Support by Coffee Board
